This one-piece dress is inspired by the hidden fashionable "Hakkake" of Kimono. The sides and cuffs are decorated with a colorful pattern based on the Sumi-nagashi dyeing technique. The rayon material is light and comfortable to wear, making it a piece that will keep you cool even on hot days. The origin of the dyeing technique is said to be the Heian period (794-1185), when ink was floated on water and the pattern was copied with Japanese paper, called "sumi-nagashi e". The pattern on each item differs due to the handmade nature of the work.
